Great news - with the help of one of DC's few registered Republicans and Huckabee supporters, we have secured a room at McFadden's near the Foggy Bottom Metro station to watch the Republican debate tomorrow night. Please join us! We can even offer you free pitchers of beer and buffalo wings!

If you can't join us, you can watch the debate on MSNBC from 9-11 pm.

Please update your RSVP selection on the Meetup website so we have a good idea of how many people are coming -- and feel free to bring friends, whether Huckabee supporters or undecided.

See you tomorrow night!
Lillian

Talk about this Meetup

I HOPE to make it. We live in the 'burbs and have 4 kids, so it's a bit of a stretch... but it sounds like fun! GO MIKE!! Hey -- call the Nat'l Right to Life Cmte and ask 'em to endorse Mike! (They prev. endorsed Thompson.) their endorsement would be a HUGE help. (202) 626-8800 E-mail NRLC@nrlc.org

Thanks to everyone who came out on such short notice and your patience with the technology glitches at the beginning of the debate!
    •  Thanks Lillian for getting this event up w/short notice. Unfortunately the venue (bar) was way too loud to converse w/ the other Huckabee fans, or talk about ways that we could help the campaign together. Also glad my 15-yr-old son didn't come all the way into DC w/ me because he would have been turned away at the door for being underage.

Husband and I arrived at the announced time, 7:30, and no one was there. We were not aware of, and the announcement did not include, the actual time or duration of the debate (9pm, for 90 minutes). Having a school-age child at home, we would not have come if we had known all the details. We left at 8 before the debate and watched it at home.
