The Huckabee Conservative Action Group Continues!

Dear Fellow Members of the Huckabee Meetup Group:

As a new Assistant Organizer, to just let everyone in this support group know that you
are all awesome! I appreciate you all more than you know!

Just to state from the onset:
we are not disbanding as a conservative action group...nay, the Huckabee Conservative Action Group continue on!

The good that has emerged from "the Huckabee Republicans" will continue to grow
and carry the torch for this true conservative movement re-ignited by Mike Huckabee!

My heart is broken with you all and for this nation that Mike Huckabee was let down by so many so called "conservatives". But not so with you!

You remained loyal and true to what was best and right in spite of what was said by political pundits and so-called "conservative" talk show hosts, and you were steadfast in spite of the barrage of propaganda by the media, and you were unwavering even in spite of "strategic voting tactics" and betrayal by conservative pastors, leaders, and voters.

May God bless you for your perserverance and adherance to truth!

Next: I just wanted to encourage you that your efforts were not in vain!

As heard today on the AM 630 KSLR's "Adam McManus" caller after caller for hours
provided feedback on the movement started as a result of this rally around truth
brought on and inspired by our beloved Mike Huckabee!

Our most honorable coordinator (Chris) and radio talk show host Adam McManus poured out their hearts before a nation-wide listening audience by means of the internet and local radio
with great concern about our country, sadness over America's choice, and the greatness of Mike Huckabee. Today's program was unique, incredible, memorable, gut-wrenching, and absolutely inspirational!

The following are extracts from the e-mail I sent today to Adam McManus in response after
listening to today's program:

BEGINNING OF EXTRACTS (with some modification)

Adam,

I believe the healing showers of God "working all things together for good" are already starting to fall! When things look bleakest, God's working shines forth from it, like a beams of light penetrating through the dark clouds!

By way of encouragement, the network of Huckabee supporters is not shriveling up in the face of John McCain getting his "1191 delegate votes". Instead, Huckabee supporters are rallying around the flag pole of faith, family, moral certitude and finding the real platform for conservatism -- it's perhaps the beginning of a "Huckabee Revolution"? Not unlike the
"Reagan Revolution" except with greater emphasis on the fact that without God, or rather,
that if we ignore God's will...there will be a terrible reaping of what we sow!

Yes Christian leader, pastor, and everyone who names the name of Christ: Why was Mike Huckabee let down??? The introspection is heartbreaking!

It is a truly sad and heartbreaking time; however, I also believe that we are moving into a time of healing, and strengthening for the times to come! Yes God can! (to put things in perspective in contrast to the mindless chants of some political candidates!). What this means is not that OUR agenda is God's agenda, rather, it means that GOD'S agenda should be our agenda!

It's been interesting to see how various political pundits on the radio have rallied around various candidates OTHER than Mike showing their true nature! This in actuality then was a helpful learning experience for us as Christians and true conservatives to see revealed the true colors of those who have considered themselves the "conservative warriors".
What irony!

Yes, it has been a time of sifting... sifting between wheat and chaff, and God has allowed us to see HOW to forge forward through these dark times, because God wants us to learn from this experience, and to have hope, and to envision the light that is to come through lives that are "sold out" for Christ and His gospel.

I think that if you, I, and all listeners from your program today were to sit around a table with Mike Huckabee for a candid dialogue, I believe that he would tell us that politics is a tool or means like anything else not to be the "end in and of itself", but to be used to ultimately lift up Christ who alone is Savior and Lord (wouldn't that stick in the "craw" of the liberal media!). If our only focus were to be the "political end" then it would surely be a series of let downs, but even moreso it would invert the proper focus that the Lord desires of us, namely to keep the ultimately aim of all our efforts to promote Christ and His gospel! Then everything else will be in proper order and perspective. As it says in Matthew 6:33 "But seek YOU first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."

I do believe in the strongest way that God wants us to use these learning experiences and the vitalized networking as a result of this mutual "Huckabee partnership" to teach us about the Glory of God, to promote mutual good towards people, and to show what love for Christ looks like when lived out in the lives of the true "salt of the earth".

All that Mike Huckabee has done, all that everyone has done in the cause of Mike's campaign will not have been in vain! The healing showers of God's working has begun to
fall, and the plantings (AND YOU MEETUP GROUP ARE THESE PLANTINGS!) are breaking through toward the light! I strongly believe that great things are to come no matter how oppressive the darkness!

Whether or not we are in the "last days of the last days or not" I do not know...if may be possible However, we should know that since the time of Pentecost we have been (are)
in the last days (Acts 2:17), and that God is working His sovereign will for the redeemed to be set apart (distinct) from the "untoward" (perverse) culture around them! (Acts 2:40).

As the song goes:
"Soldiers of Christ arise... and put your armour on...strong in the strength which God supplies...strong in the strength which God supplies through His beloved Son" !

Let us seek to make a difference...by God's help we can!

You like Mike Huckabee are greatly loved and admired for what you have done.

Excellent letter, Mark.

I agree that we should keep this group together in an effort to do what we can for the good of this country. Maybe Huckabee will even decide to do something with these established volunteers and support groups.

I hope McCain will pay attention to the issues that took people away from him and to Huckabee.

The biggest compliment I can give Mike Huckabee's campaign is that my 80-something cousin loved him....and she is a far left liberal.
