Dear Fellow Huckabee Supporters:

When I was growing up, I heard the following advice a lot:
"When the going gets tough, the tough get going"
Well the going has been tough for Mike Huckabee.
But he has shown how tough and determined he is.
The Governor has told me that he is staying in the race for two reasons.
The first is because there is no winner until one candidate reaches 1191 delegates.
The second is that if he leaves, the values and message he carries will be forgotten.
I think we all realize that second point. Our Republican opponent, while a good man, does not have the demonstrated, life-long commitment to the conservative cause that Governor Huckabee does. For Governor Huckabee and for us, it is about making the country better by building up individuals and communities. It's not just about this election and issues.

I am proud that Mike Huckabee has stayed in the race.

Like you , I want to support him as much as possible.

I am writing this morning to see if we have sufficient support to put together events in New York State where you would be able to meet Governor Huckabee in person.

We would need to raise at least $30,000 for each stop. I am writing you to see if we can raise this money to justify scheduling these events. I, for one, would like to see him outside of New York City meeting with as many of his enthusiastic supporters as possible.
