Weekly Prayer Focus May 6-12

We declare God's plans and purposes in the earth, and we specifically pray
that the election of President and Vice President in the United States be
accomplished through God's Spirit. We pray that every hindrance or obstacle
that would attempt to prevent God's will from being accomplished be removed!
We pray for the Republican Presidential and Vice Presidential nominees, that
the Republican Party National Convention will choose a winning combination,
that these nominees are ordained by God, that they are supported by the
Republican Party membership and leadership, that these nominees support
pro-life and pro-family values, that they support conservative Federal
Judicial and Supreme Court Justice nominations, and that they are both men
of godly CHARACTER. We pray for God's BEST choice in this election for both
President and Vice President and we pray that God places Mike Huckabee in
this election as a winner.

We pray that God anoints and empowers Mike Huckabee as He did King David of
Israel; that no weapon formed against Mike will succeed. We pray that God
prepares the weapons of Mike's warfare in the same way that God prepared
five smooth stones for young David. We pray that when Mike goes out to lead
the armies of the living God in the name of the Lord Almighty that he arises
victorious in his spiritual battles. As King David's sling slew Goliath, we
pray that Mike triumphs over his adversaries, spiritual and political, so
that all will know that it is not by sword or spear that the LORD saves; for
the battle is the LORD's.

We pray that Mike's knee would be strengthened so he would be able to
accomplish his goals and not hinder his activities. We pray for protection
for Mike as he travels and in any situation that could endanger him both
physically or attack his character or integrity, as he is engaged in the
public arena.

We pray God's blessing over Huck PAC; that the Lord prospers it and makes it
productive, effective and powerful to accomplish God's purposes in the
upcoming elections. We pray that God guides the leadership together with
Mike to form a strategy and plan that will best assist Godly men and women
seeking US Congressional, local, and regional office in our nation. We pray
for God's protection, discernment, wisdom and growth for HuckPac and
pro-Huckabee political blogs and for continued internet coverage including
Myspace, Facebook, and YouTube.

We pray that Mike would have the opportunity to offer insight and Godly
wisdom to those he is campaigning with in up-coming elections and that the
Lord would speak through him in situations where Mike is asked to speak
about events, comments or actions made by others during the current election
cycle. We pray for boldness on the part of Christian leaders, secular
commentators, public figures and elected officials to speak out and give
Mike favor and positive coverage. We pray that the voices of falsehood and
rumor cease, and that truth be revealed in all circumstances regarding Mike
and his positions on the issues and on his record of service.

We pray that Mike's personal finances will multiply; that people purchase
Mike's books, and that he has provision to meet all needs for himself and
his family.

We pray for the upcoming primaries in Nebraska, Oregon and Kentucky, that
Mike continues to receive votes and delegates, supporting the values he
represents, even though he is not actively campaigning.

We pray that disappointment, anger, and bitterness in supporters of Mike
will cease, that hope increases, that we as Mike's supporters don't get ahead
of God's plans for Mike, and that we seek God's timing, purpose, and plan
for Mike.
