We will gather for organizing, networking, food and fun - and most importantly - to watch Mike win the Iowa Caucus! Join us for all the excitement and challenge of working on a Presidential campaign and seeing your efforts pay off when Governor Huckabee takes the presidential oath of office at the Capitol in Washington, D.C. in January 2009! More details will follow.

***Update (December 13th): We now have the distinct event advantage in the Marietta/Cobb and the Cherokee County Mike Huckabee Meetups to have Greg Paine, a professional chef, join our team! Therefore, we are working on special arrangements for our next meeting on January 3rd. I guarantee you won't want to miss this event. More mouth-watering details to follow!

****New Update(December 23rd): We have confirmed Greg Paine's catering our event, and we will be at the historic Rock Barn in Canton on January 3rd at 7:00 pm. You don't want to miss this!

*****Full event flyer went out to all Cobb County Meetup members today (December 29th). If you didn't get one, e-mail Martin Hawley at: kuriakos@bellsouth.net, and get your RSVP in today!

******We have confirmed that State Huckabee Campaign Co-Director Joe Dendy and our Congressional Districts State Campaign Director David McCleary will be speaking at this event!

BRING FRIENDS - We all know people who vote conservative and have yet to get involved in a campaign. Now is the time to be "pushy" and grab friends to come to this event. They need to network with others who are on the same page politically. We can do together what we could never do alone.

BLOG BLOG BLOG - I have never been much of a blogger until recently. When I ran for office, bloggers would attack me on the internet. Obviously Gov. Huckabee is being attacked as well. Here are a few Blog to being posting your support: for New Hampshire http://www.newhampshireblog... and http://learfield.typepad.co... for Iowa! Just search Blogs in Iowa, NH, and South Carolina and post why everyone should support Gov. Huckabee. The pen is more powerful than the sword.

THE BASICS - A window of opportunity has opened. Now is the time to make use of every minute. While you are sitting there at your computer - make sure you remind everyone in your e-mail address book to register to vote tomorrow! The deadline is Jan. 5. Do not assume everyone is a registered voter. Ask them to forward the reminder to register to vote to their friends. Include your personal endorsement of Gov. Huckabee. I can't wait to meet everyone tomorrow night!
