Friends in Georgia - I second these remarks by our meetup Organizer,
Mark West! Way to go, folks!! Your faithful prayers and support made
Mike Huckabee's victory in GA last night possible; God blessed this
humble man with success among Republicans last night, and we are so
grateful! Bernie and I have been here in Little Rock since late Monday
night. Yesterday afternoon, we went to the campaign headquarters and
helped on the phones for 3+ hours. What an experience! At the behest
of pundits like Rush Limbaugh, people were calling in to berate Mike for
his win in West Virginia. Most did not wish to leave a comment on the
comment line, but preferred to unload vitriole on the phone volunteers
instead. Many of these angry callers were Romney supporters; sadly,
many also identified themselves as Christians, though what they said and
the way they said it belied their claim. It was a good reminder to me
to be praying regularly not just for Mike and his family, but for those
who work with them on the campaign trail and in the Little Rock
headquarters. I hope many of you were able to get to the rally for "Huck
and Chuck" on Monday in Chattanooga. It was really exciting to see both
Mike and Chuck Norris, and hear our candidate speak from the heart.
Mike Huckabee is a genuine, caring, articulate conservative, and we need
to do our best to continue to support him in this campaign. Please
contact folks you know in Louisiana, Washington state, Kansas (where
primaries are Saturday, 2/9), Maryland, Washington D.C., and Virginia
(primaries next Tuesday, 2/12). Encourage them to investigate Mike
Huckabee on his website, then cast their votes for him in their
primaries. More primary victories for Mike may well make Mitt Romney
willing finally to recognize his inability to win (saying "I'm the only
true conservative" constantly doesn't seem to be a convincing strategy)
and step out of the race. A contest between John McCain and Mike
Huckabee would be run on ideas and principles, not personalities, and
would be best for the health of the Republican Party as well as the
country. Let's not stop praying and working for Mike Huckabee, just as
those whose primaries preceded ours helped us to success!

Thanks to all of you -

Ann Ritterbush

Night!!!Date: Wed, 6 Feb 2008 02:31:53 -0500Chattanooga Area Huckabee
Friends:You have got to be tremendously excited and pleased with the way
this night has gone. I know that I am. What a tremendous conclusion to
many hours of effort by many of you - making phone calls, waving signs,
passing out flyers, going door to door, driving in car parades, handing
out voter guides, calling churches, and of course, praying and praying
and praying. We can clearly see the results of your labor in TN. I truly
believe that everyone one of you who were involved over the last few
weeks in our initiative locally can clearly see that YOU MADE THE
DIFFERENCE. Chip Saltsman and other key Campaign staff told me
personally that we clearly made the difference in carrying TN for
Huckabee!!This is truly a historic night and one we will never
forget. But, we cannot rest on these results. Wednesday morning it starts
afresh. Our Huckabee Campaign has just crested the hill at the 13 mile
marker of our Marathon and we are half way to the Goal. We must reach
mile 26 and to do so will require more of the same:We must raise $$$ and
gain voters. Many of you know that my Dad and I spent the last two days
in Little Rock. (Bernie and Ann Ritterbush also made the trek over
here.) We were afforded the opportunity to see and be with the Governor
and his staff several times over the last two days and hear his heart.
Tonight, following the victories, the Governor shared with Team-100
Members that the credit for this victory goes to God - plain and simple.
Clearly God used you and me to accomplish this victory but ultimately He
deserves and receives the credit.Mike Huckabee shared that so long as
the Campaign continues to be blessed with victories and funds, the
Campaign will continue on. So we must fund this Campaign. If you've
believed in this message then it is incumbent more than ever to continue
to lock arms with us and press on to Mile Marker 26.We will be in touch
with you in the next day or so to provide you with the next steps that
we will be taking in the Chattanooga area to continue our support of
Mike Huckabee. In the meantime, would you consider contributing to the
Huckabee campaign? If so, please go to the website and use my Personal
Donor Code #133:
