Sacramento-area Huckabee Supporters,

I am deeply sorry for having to cancel the "Perseverance" meeting that was scheduled for tonight. This has been done for three reasons:
1. I've been going through a personal crisis for over a week that has consumed all of my time. I have not been able to plan the meeting that was to be tonight.
2. Several of our Sacramento-area Meetup Assistant Organizers are running for the Sacramento County Republican Central Committee. There is a candidate meeting tonight that I found out about just two days ago.
3. We lack compelling reasons to meet at this point. What we need to be doing to "persevere" we can certainly do between now and Tuesday, March 4: Make those phone calls to Texas and Ohio via our Ranger accounts/phone banks on the Huckabee web site.

Please do not give up on me or on our Meetup group. We have built a great organization that can still do a lot of good. For those of you new to the group who were especially looking forward to meeting some of us old-timers, again, I am sorry.

I'll keep you posted as to the direction of the group, especially in the next week or two as Governor Huckabee's plans become even more clear.
