Who should come: Everyone who is interested in carrying on Governor Huckabee's legacy by promoting his values - our values.

Why: * Take a look at where people support young women (and sometimes young men) in choosing LIFE for their babies.
* Have a little post-primary reunion over food.
* Discuss the new purpose - and maybe a new name - for our Meetup group.

You know what's even better than believing in our values? Actually working them out! Governor Huckabee has said on several occasions, "I didn't become pro-life because I got into politics; I got into politics because I am pro-life." Although most of us long for the overturning of Roe v. Wade and the passage of a Human Life Amendment, we don't have to wait till then to help save the unborn. Babies are saved, and their parents are given resources and training, every day at Alternatives Pregnancy Center.

Come take a look at what it's all about this Monday at their "open house." There are a variety of ways to serve at Alternatives (e.g. I do handy-manning, Suzy teaches parenting courses). Even if you decide not to volunteer, at least you'll come away with a greater understanding, and appreciation of, one of our core values in action!
