Join us in Downtown Charlottesville as we demonstrate our displeasure with the Billions of Dollars worth of Bailouts and Pork Spending in Washington DC. We will start on the east end of the Downtown Mall by City Hall and will end in front of Congressman Tom Perriello’s office on S. First Street.

We are joining forces with the VA 5th District folks at Patriotic Resistance (http://www.resistnet....) and hope to make a big splash downtown.

You are welcome to make your own statement, but I would like us to use this opportunity to bring the FAIRTAX proposal to the forefront. I say let 'em know you're mad and we're definitely protesting the tax and spend behavior running rampant in DC (and elsewhere)...especially the Congressional Relief Action Plan (a.k.a. Stimulus Bill), but we also want to provide the best solution we know of when it comes to taxes and stimulating our economy...Abolish the IRS...Implement the FairTax.

As it is now, Congressman Perriello is not sold on the FairTax where our last Congressman, Virgil Goode was. We need to take this opportunity to show we support the FairTax and rally other folks passing by, that we have a viable alternative to stimulate our economy. Mark your calendar for this event.
