I'm really excited about this event and the opportunity to meet other members of Huck's Army. Even though we no longer have a dog in the current fight, I'd like to think we are still preparing to enter the fray, as it were, at a future date and time...Go Huck! Also, am reading the 2nd Fair-Tax book, and it really clarifies the issue quite nicely.

Who attended?

    •  Great time to get together again and share thoughts and ideas for continued support of conservative principles. Glad for a good turnout. Thanks, Ken and Jared for your work for our group and our man Mike!
    •  I am so glad I attended. It was an excellent opportunity to revisit with old friends and make some new ones who are like-minded, optimistic about the future, and have shared values. The food was quite good and the overall mood was upbeat and hopeful. Although I was somewhat conflicted in terms of how to approach the upcoming general election BEFORE this picnic, I left with a renewed sense of purpose that will enable me to clearly focus on what I must do going forward. My only regret is that I did not have time to play a little "horseshoes" before finally departing.
    •  We had 17 adults and 8 kids at our picnic today and we were there from 11am until 4pm (sheesh those Huckanuts don't want to ever leave  )!!! We mostly had a good time catching up, eating, etc... but then talked ideas for next steps for about an hour at the end. Local Fair Tax groups, member of our group running for Jacksonville City Council, F3 (Jerod might still be talking...lol), new Huckabee PAC, and challenge to help re-start the Right to Life group in Jacksonville, among other ideas.
    •  Loved meeting and re-uniting with so many great folks. Let's keep fighting for the things that matter!! Take care, Erin Neikirk
    •  This is the first meeting I have attended with the meetup group. I have exchanged emails with many of the members in the past, but never really met any of them. It was good to see and share views / experiences with many of the members. My wife, Dottie, and I shared in fellowship with a dedicated energized Huckabee values / issues supporters. Dottie and I were glad we were able to attend the picnic and are grateful for the experiece. Thanks to Ken and Jerod for hosting a great way to spend the afternoon. The food, fellowship and location was great.
