We'll have a local band, Texas Thorns, playing some original music before the Gov arrives, and word has it Chuck Norris will be in town too.

Concession stands will be open, so bring the family, enjoy a snack, some music, and hearing from the 44th president of the U.S.

HELP: We've sent press releases to area GOP offices, radio, tv stations, and newspapers. Please help us promote this event. Tell your friends, church members, co workers, neighbors, ....... Post an entry on local blogs, call in to local radio talk shows, use your imagination. The facility holds up to 3000 people. They had over 1100 show up in Waco on Thursday and over 2000 at Texas A&M today. Let's top that!

Please join us this Sunday afternoon at the TakeUp.Org "Texas Faith & Freedom Rally" to be held at the State Capitol in Austin, TX (south side) on Sunday, March 2nd (TEXAS INDEPENDENCE DAY) from 4:00 -6:00 p.m.

We will hear from Christian leaders, musicians, and others in Texas actively involved in this battle to save our nation. We will, through our "Declaration of Dependence on Him" acknowledge that ultimately, we must rely on God for the outcome of this election (and everything else) facing us.

All candidates and Texans (of every origin) are welcome to attend!! At the "Texas Faith & Freedom Rally," we will be offering up prayers for HOPE, guidance and wisdom in the coming days to choose leaders that exhibit moral clarity.

Free parking is available at the Capitol Visitors? Garage located between 12th & 13th Streets on San Jacinto and the Capitol is located at 11th and Congress Avenue.

Thank you for remaining engaged in this battle with us. We hope to see you at the Capitol! Please share this invitation with your family and friends - HELP US TO SPREAD THE WORD.

Please contact me if you need additional information or have questions.

Blessings,

We are meeting this Saturday to have a sign rally for Gov. Huckabee. A couple months back this meetup purchased 100 yard signs. We have thirty left, and they need to be set out around Austin.

That is what the rally will be all about. I know many of you have been waiting for this type of opportunity.

Hope to see you there. If some want to phone bank afterwards, there will be that opportunity.

Holly will be directing this event and would like for you to RSVP if you plan to come. She is bringing donuts.
