THANKS to everyone for their cooperation and support in keeping this Mike Huckabee Meetup Site in a VERTICAL mode!
Let's all work together to abide by the Guidelines set up by Mike's other grassroots organization, Huck's Army: NATIONAL MIKE HUCKABEE MEETUP GUIDELINES (AS ADAPTED FROM "HUCK'S ARMY") 1. - Do Not Bad-Mouth Other Candidates Criticism of other candidates is permitted when it is respectful and meant for informative purposes, but personal attacks and name calling will not be permitted. We'll strive to maintain respectful and positive discussion as with the example Governor Huckabee has set in vertical politics. 2. - Do not use this forum to "prosteletize" Mike Huckabee has said he wants to be "everybody's President", and that includes all people of all faiths, all the while we individually hold fast to our own beliefs. We are a large and diverse group and we must be respectful of all people. If you want to have a personal discussion with someone, use private emails, not post to the whole group. 3. - Do Not Use Foul Language Like what Mike Huckabee represents, we consider this forum to be family-friendly. Foul language is strictly prohibited. Repeated violation of this rule will result in temporary or permanent banning from the forums as determined by Organizers and moderators. 4. - Keep Issues on Focus Let's keep our interaction focused on Mike Huckabee and his issues, not "chatter" and back-and-forth opinions and commentary. We want to keep our Meetup group emails on focus and informative. You should send PRIVATE emails to those you want to have detailed conversations with. Be respectful of the WHOLE GROUP, not just your need to "express yourself". 5. - Limit your Group Meetup Emails Use common sense when sending emails to the whole group. Keep in mind that we have over 100 members, and if everyone sent one email everyday to everyone, our Inboxes would be overloaded. Keep emails brief, informative and on focus ONLY. Members: Keep in mind you can go to "Account" on the Meetup site and and set your preferences of when and how you receive your correspondence from the Meetup members. 6. - Do Not Publicly Criticize Other Members Remember: This is a very PUBLIC forum. If you have an issue with another member, address it in Private Messages or work with an admin/moderator to resolve it. NEVER send a group email that is critical of another member! Character attacks are never permitted. 7. - Do Not Post Personal Information For the protection of our members, we prohibit posting of personal information that may compromise anyone's privacy. Names are permitted, but phone numbers and other sensitive contact information should be kept private. 8. - Maintain Respectful Dissent The Meetup forums are a means for motivated Huckabee supporters to communicate with one another and more importantly build a grassroots support effort to support Mike Huckabee and the issues he represents. While dissenting views and opinions aren't prohibited, such views when expressed in ways that demoralize or inflame other users will not be tolerated and will result in post deletion or banning (for repeated violations) with or without notice/explanation. A respectful tone should always be a part of any publicly critical or negative commentary. 9. -BE SURE all information that is circulated is TRUE. Be sure to include all links to news articles or other sources of information that verify your statements. Try not to use YOUR OPINIONS to verify information. We do not want to MISLEAD others and possibly spread false information that would be traced back to the source being Mike Huckabee's National Meetup site. Rules subject to change with or without notice. Please contact the Meetup Organizer, George or Assts. privately if you have any questions. Those who do NOT RESPECT these Guidelines will be removed from this Meetup. Thanks for your help and cooperation!
